Today’s juice is about soothing and supporting the digestive system. It has fennel and lemon which are 2 of my favourites and is a light and refreshing juice to drink.
Fennel has carminative properties that support indigestion, bloating, excessive stomach acid and flatulence. Lemon, mint and cucumber are cooling for inflammation, support liver detoxification and are Alkalising helping keep our balance.
You will need the following to make 500ml juice:
1/2 fennel bulb
1 medium lemon
Bunch of fresh mint
1 long cucumber
Wash and chop fresh produce, and put through your juicer. I usually alternate putting soft and hard produce to help the more fibrous fruit and veggies push through the juicer easily.
